Dr. Ekaterina Zhecheva is professor in Inorganic Chemistry at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her main research interests are in the field of materials for energy conversion and storage, intercalation compounds chemistry and electrode materials for alkali ion batteries. She is author and co-author of more than 150 papers in ISI journals with over 3400 independent citations and a Hirsch-index of 35. Prof. Zhecheva was supervisor of 7 PhD students.
